Maschinenbau u. Konstruktion GmbH Elmshorn was founded on November 4, 1980 in the town of Elmshorn, which is still part of the company name today.

In 1990, with foresight, a new location was found in the neighboring community of Kiebitzreihe.
The company now employs a team of 70 specialists, who are supported by additional technicians from the local network as required.
